Rayuela tells the story of Horacio Oliveira, and that´s it!. I´m not going to tell you anything about the plot today, cause what I want to talk about is what people think and know about this fantastic and intriguing novel.
The article I was telling you about, contains a trascription of chapter 7th of Rayuela commonly know as "toco tu boca", that was my first contact with the novel, I kept searching and asking people about it always trying to learn more from the book. However after many years of research I get to the conclusion that the content of chapter 7th is all most people know about Rayuela.
While I was reading it I realize that Rayuela is much more than "toco tu boca" In fact the impression that the verse give you has nothing to do with the real plot and message of this novel. It is not a romantic book as everybody thinks, it´s more about learnig, and approaching all the knowledge friends, neighbors, couples, and strangers teach you through your life.
To sum up, today I just wanted to give you the real feeling of Rayuela, so that when it comes the blog in which I ussually tells you the story of the book I have just read . You didn´t came to check out my blog thinking; "Wow Rayuela! for sure this blog will include chapter 7th verses! I love them!". I have to dissapoint you guys. My Rayuela blogentrance will not contain it.
If you happen to do not know chapter 7th go ahead and look for it, it is excellent I´m not trying to talk you out of loving it, I just want you to be concious of the amount of terrific aspects Rayuela has apart from "the only chapter everybody has record of"
